{Got?} Telegram from C Parsons that In mill {be?} down on Train tonight must NmN at 7. Here go to Cris & meet CP. We go {illegible} & sit till 12 1/2 P.M. Talking. {illegible} goes to Toronto & offers to do {drink?} in Brum Hous at 16 & for Midi?
JANUARY FRIDAY 7 1876
CP & I go to Tannery at 9. Bring meat at at {Sandlos?} 6 o. meet Brown on our way down. Stay at Tannery till 2. Jim M Garland brings {illegible} I tell him about WS. We (CP + I) go ot to dinner at 2. back at 4. Mills brings Hide from S Cath. Talks {on?} 25 Rolls 199 {illegible} 297 {illegible} {Hamps?} to Car for Toronto & brings back 2 Ratio Japonica. We go to {Mrs Ketchers?} after that & stay till 11. go home & sit up till 1 am
