JUNE TUESDAY 6 1876
Go to Tannery at 7½. Shipp'd 10 Rolls 50 Tann'd Hides to order of TP&Co. Montreal. @ 28 cts cash for W T Egan.
Jas Barry sends down for Fleshings & sends $500 accdly {accordingly} by Boy. Give him 6 {½?} Bbls.
Go up to Lewiston on boat this P.M. Get letter from C Worden this AM. L Follett cashes cheque of $6363 this A.m. I pay him $20 for Porter & Luscombes a/c. JC McMillan cashes cheque of $1.25 for me on Boat.
JUNE WEDNESDAY 7 1876
Go to Tannery at 7½. Shippd 2 Rolls 10 Hides to Jas Newton, Richmondhill 312#s. 30 cts CP tells me he pays for it.
Send cheque by McMillan for $125 to get chequed for me in Toronto. I go up to Lewiston this P.M. & he pays it to me. I pay Jim Holoan & Hooley & Hughs their due Bills against me. Pay Webber $40 on a/c & J Mills bal of his a/c $ {blnak} . Wife goes to Buffalo this a.m. I give her $1500.
