Get telegram from Scadding to go to Toronto this Eve'g. I go over & take funds with me. Ed meets me at Boat; I pay him at Hotel $49. for Insurance on Mothers House & 2000 on Tannery in Gore Mutual.

Go to Hewitts after buying Fish tackle. Pay Hewitt for my Shoes got few weeks ago $600 in full to date & order another pair. He tells me about Fullmer having a piece of my Leat {Leather} Go to T.P. & Co. & pay over proceeds of Dft less $150 on Private a/c & duries $4482. The{y} give me cheque for $8252 for tonight on O Extract 20 Bbls rec Thursday. I go to Hays & Co of {?} Furniture, come back on City this P.M. Expense $200.
