Go to Tannery at 8½ Dora Clark goes down with me. She takes Rothsay for Toronto, see Notice for Currier in Globe this A.M. meet C Dean on Wharf ride up town with him on Cars. I pay duties on Valonia $155 H Paffard cashes Cheque of TP&Co for me $4540. Maria gives Dora $600 accdly {accordingly}. Get telegram from IDMcs for 50 Hides immediate Begin taking out 60 Sds Sole this P.M.

Lend IMLawder on Rousseaus Wharf $2500, to apply on Note

AUGUST WEDNESDAY 30 1876

Dora Clark goes to Buffalo this a.m. meet J.C. Kirkpatrick wife & daughter on Cars. Pay $5.00 for Cord Wood. Send Jas Wiley by Mail (Fred Warren as Witness) a TP&Cos Cheque for $7500 to pay note held by him of mine for Possession on Life Insurance. I receive two cheques by mail from TP&Co 1 for $7500 & 1 for $2500.

Uncle John returns from Pelham this Noon by Chase.
