C Parsons and I go to Tannery at 9½: CP examines Stock very much pleased with it. Jas Fleming of Lewiston calls I pay him for 4 Bales Japonica & 1 Bbl Valonia $47 {C?} I hand C Parsons balance of procceeds of Dft less the above $47. He hands me back $308 on a/c of Expenses for Sep. & says he will send me Cheques for $225 to Cover Rent to date & my $100. After dinner we call on Mrs Ketchum. Go to Tannery at 4 Roll up 20 Sds {sides} Harness & 10 sds Russett Bridle.
