Go to Tannery at 7. Work all day. {Catterig?} Gas Pipe & fittings arrive. Str {Steamer} City arrives at 3 P.M. Capt Dick comes to Tannery & stays till 6. We wait up town till Cars arrive. Garrett & Miss Hewgill come down also Mrs Ketchum. I go home & dont go out again this Eve'g.

I telegraph TP&Co to send Iron Tank at once. get Dft from {Casonsber? November?} this eve'g 1 for $1000 & 1 for $85584 proceeds of Dft on TP&Co of $1900, forward same by Mail to TP&Co this a.m. & Register Str {Steamer} City of Toronto arrives at 3 P.M. from Charlotte to lay up.

NOVEMBER WEDNESDAY 22 1876

Go to Tannery at 7 Enclose $872 to JF MacKelin for Rolling last Sole Leat {Leather} in Sept 10th/76.

Mrs Nash calls to see me about Keeping the a/c's etc.. Capt Dick calls. Pay D McMillan $250 for groceries to date & take Rx.

Capt Dick calls after dinner & stays all the afternoon

Lend Mrs Ketchum $1200 to be {ret.?} in a few days
