very cold

Go to Tannery at 7. Find Prosser has Kept up too much heat & injured 15 Backs that were tannying. I put Bullock & mate on to scouring this a.m. Get Pine Table from Camochan this A.M.

DECEMBER SATURDAY 16 1876

Go to Tannery at 7. Geo Suirs still there. Clock marked all night I remain at Tannery all day I stop old Grundy working at noon Parker begins skivering after dinner. Barry comes to office & Supoenas me to Mrs Courtneys trial on Tuesday. I lend Barry for Mrs Courtney to pay 4 Witness fees $10.
