Sat Jan 17. Fine but still cold 4 below zero. Then moderated. Aunt Mattie called at Mondays. I called at Welsh's. a light fall of snow! all sleighs out now. and bad for Auttos. side walk drifted first.
Sun Jan 18. Very cold with N.W. wind. and drifting a little. I went eve. ch.
Mon Jan 19. Fine but very cold. a little snow storm at night. we washed soft water pump frozen.
Tue. Jan 20. East wind very stormy from E. blowing and snowing untill six in eve.
Wed Jan 21. Fine bright. but cold down to zero but good sun. I went to Toronto. car late and I missed appointment at Dentist. called at Jennie Spights meat house 64. Douglas Drive. Hard water pump out of order.
Thur Jan 22. Fine very cold. 6 below zero. Miss Davidson and I at Hockey Match.
Fri Jan 23. A light snow storm in eve. very cold. good sleighing,

Mon Jan 26. Fine and very cold at first then moderated very fine. Susie Jackson here for tea. Knapton patched a eave {inlegibile}
Tue Jan 27. Fine and quite mild got all cleaned up.
