July | 16 | Henery drew in 2 loads of hay from the north field 1 from the orchard I put there in the west half of the big mow then Cornet helped him I am not able to do anything |
rain | 17 | finished cutting the North field very heavy rain this afternoon the best & most rain we have had since April |
rain | 18 | shingled part of the south side of the barn I had to come down from it with my head Henery raked part of the north field this afternoon rain to night |
19 | rain last night & this morning Henery & Ellen went to Gananoque took 9 bushel of wheat with them to the mill there is no grinding they brought it back with them they took Mr Matthews & Mr Gordon home with them | |

21 | I went to Gananoque for the lid of the milk can they forgot it on Saturday Henery began to mow in the field below the house this morning he & the girls drew in 1 load of hay from orchard & 2 from the Northfield put them in the East half of the big mow fine day | |
