April 26th. Cool + very windy. more showers tonight planted Cucumber + started transplanting tomatoes

april 27 Very cold west wind. + cloudy.

april 28. {Faw?}. and cold with strong west wind. went to Hamilton Charlotte got a bicyicle

april 29th Sunday {Faw?} and getting some milde.

April 30th Fine + warm the first real fine day this spring. Donald and the gang planting Cabbags + Lettuce out doors + transplanting tomatoes.. temperature must have been as high as 75

May 1st. Fine + warm started planting Beans. 10th Blast Pencil Pod and 25 lbs Davis {Illegible} way.

May 2. Planting Beans + started digging strawberry plants. fine + warm up to about 80

May 3 still fine + warm planting sweet corn

May 4th Fine + very warm. planting Corn and digging Strawberries Roots not very good

may 5th. Fine + very about 80 hot. started planting strawberries. ground getting dry. on the {Illegible} 7 {unfinished?} strawberry {Illegible}
