Dec 20 met two trains this morning mother did not come guess she will be here sure tonight. Roads very icy.

Dec 21 Mother arrived last night. Was certainly glad to see her. The kids could not go to the tain, had to go to Sunday school. concert last night. everybody had a big time last night ( celebrating tii)

Dec 22 Saturday bery busy all day up to Hamilton shopping to get a Christmas tree. mother had some front page write up in yesterday Spectator.

Sunday Dec 23rd. Had a quiet day. Laura & Ken called for a few minutes.

dec 24th. Not very cold a few snow flurries. Roads very icy.

Dec 25th. Some snow last night every thing white this a.m. Weather mild & cloudy. Down to John's fpr the day.

Dec 26th. An awful railroad accident last night about 9:00 at Dundas. Two sections of International Ltd had a rear end collision. 15 dead and 40 injured. Turning very cold today with some snow.

Dec 27. About zero & guess very cold some places. 40 below out west.
