10th Fine till after 12 and the Wind changed to W Rained hard Hailed hard Thunder and Lightning Blew hard Napoleon for Butter and Eggs for Jo Douquet very Heavy Down-pour of Rain put in 2 or 3 Loads of Whet Leander crofsed to PO Bought of Haggarty Pan of Bread

Augt 11th 1897 Raining Fine Showers Thunder Rain Rain an Indian here for Butter 10 Set a Line For Sturgeon Fernandez and Stanley Daisy Ionia out Trowling Leander with them close to the America and Algerian Leander to Summerstown Windy to night

12th Fine cutting oats on the hill put in 2 Loads of Wheat commenced to Rain Mr and Mrs Leslie here stopt at the Boat house asked for a noggin of Buttermilk Daisy Minnie Livinia Leander crofsed with Daisy to Mrs Careys Lots of Boats a Going to a Raft went Down Got 4 sturgeon this Morning put one to Smoke

13th put in 2 Loads of Wheat cutting oats Martin for 2 lb of Butter Windy got EEl chub

14th Fine Put in first Oats to Day Back for Butter 3 For Butter 3 Girls went to Lemays for the Clock Raft went Down
