Croton May 1887

Apr 29 th cloudy high wind from the north and cold, we were cleaning and putting up grain to get chopt and spreading meany in the fore noon, after noon was sowing and harrowing peas, finished for this season

Sat Apr 30 th clear and cool, finished harrowing peas and furrowing out the oat ground. Walter commenced plowing for corn

Sun May 1 cloudy moning and Evening clear and warm in the midle of the day pretty heavey thunder this Evening

Mon. May 2 nd clear part of the day and warm thunder and a little rain this Evening. Walter was plowing this fore noon I was planting a fiew potatoes, in the after noon Victoria and I went to took Some grain and got chopt and attended the Quarterley board.
