Tue Aug 2 clear and hot in the middle of the day, we ewre drawing in and Stacking our oats

Thu Aug 4 th clear part of the day and hot we were repairing fences and drawing wood fror for thrashing machien. i was cutting weed out of the corn. I find it allmost {dryle?} up the hot dry wether the crops are going to be very light.

Fri Aug 5 th clear fore part of the day latter part cloudy a thunder Showr about 4 P. M. we were helping William Law draw manure

Sat Aug 6 th clear high wind from the North and cool. we was helping Bilton Snary thrash
