{Continued from previous page} the corn Stalks over. I went for the Dr last Night at midnight for Victoria. we were laying up fence that the wind blew down most of the fore noon. after noon was tying up corn Stalks and pitting apples.

Tue Oct 25 th clear and cold. we were draw--ing Stalks this fare noon. digging potatoes in the after noon. the groan ground froze quite hard last night

Wed Oct 26 th clear and cool. a very hard frsot the river froze partly over. we were draw-ing corn Stalks to day.

Thu Oct 27 th clear and pleasant we finish-ed drawing the corn Stalks this fore noon. after noon walter was harrowing I was pitting apples

Fri Oct 28 th clear most of the day and pleasant we cleaned up and took a load of wheat
