Croton Decbr Dec 1904

Tue Dec 13 light Snow all day. I sent a letter Catharine Brock

Wed Dec 14th light Snow all day

Thu Dec 15th fore part of the day light Snow Evening clear and pleasant but cold the themometer 18 above zero

Fri Dec 16th light flying Snow part of the day and cold 6 deg above zero this morn-ing Sarah was here doing house work

Sat Dec 17th cloudy most of the day and cool. Dick was in a few minutes

Sun Dec 18th cloudy South wind and cold Mr Baker preachd to day

Mon Dec 19th cloudy and moderate. I had James Young here visiting most of the day. {Waller McCrainey} was here trying to sell me a coal Stove

Tue Dec 20th a drifting blushing Snowing day. Ira Saw called in awhile

Wed Dec 21 fore noon clear after noon cloudy. Bilton called this afternoon

Thu Dec 22nd cloudy and moderate the Sky as though it might rain

Fri Dec 23rd cloudy and Soft Snow all gone Sarah was here cleaning house. I bought a quarter of beef from James Sogan I was cutting it up this after noon and Salting it down

Sat Dec 24th cloudy and cold. Roy Paul was with me most of the after noon

Sun Dec 15th Cloudy and cool. this being Chatmas Christmas day most of our folks was down to the Old home to Dicks for xmas dinner

Mon Dec 26th a damp cool day commeced to rain about 3 l PM. Walter was drawing me Some wood I was pileing it in the lumber house

Tue Dec 27th cloudy and Soft heavey rain last night and part of the fore moon. I Set in the house.

Wed Dec 28th a rough cold boystrus, rain the fore part of the night. wind and Snow latter part. Dick calld to day noon

Thu Dec 29th cloudy and cold. Walter drew me a couple of loads of wood
