Fri Dec 30th clear and pleasant. Sarah was here cleaning house and bake-ing I pild the wood Walter drew for me

Sat Dec 31th clear and moderate the road getting Soft and {mroddy?,muddy?}. Walter drew wood I was piling it

Sun Jan 1st cloudy and Soft a prospect of a Storm but none {came?}. Mr baker was our Preacher to day

Mon Jan 2and clear in the morning began to cloud about ten A.M and Snow at noon from that out Snow and blaster I pileing wood and cleaning the hen house. went to the poll and voted after noon

Tue Jan 3rd clear and cold. Dick was in this fore noon to barrow my fur coat

Wed Jan 4th cloudy and cool. I was sorting over my last years {halers?} and parting them away. Part of the day I pild wood that Walter drew for me. Henry Snary balld in this morning
