Croton May 1905

Sat May 6th cloudy and wet heavey rain last night and Showry throughout the day

Sun May 7th light clouds and cool. there was a thundes Shower Shower last night quarerly meeting at Florence

Mon May 8th cloudy and misting rain most the day. Sarah was here cleaning house I finished planting potatoes

Tue May 9th cloudy and cool. I planted my bit of corn ground. Sarah here cleaning house

Wed May 10th cloudy after noon wet Wind from the East and cool. Bilton here most of the fore noon

Thu May 11th a Showry day. Bilton was here most of the fore noon. the groun getten to wet to work good

Fri May 12th cloudy and cool. this being my birth day. Sarah was here most of the day Rose came in the after noon. {Joan} and the children. Dick and Maud and Charley came in the Evening. John W and Victoria Snary calld {?}

Fri May 19th clear with a fiew light clouds and cold. Sarah was here cleaning hosue and bakeing. the bobolinks have come

Sat May 20th clear and cool a light frost last night. Bilton calld in this after noon

Sun May 21st clear and cool. a white frost this morning
