Croton August 1905

Sat Aug 19th cloudy and wet Showry all the after noon. Sarah brought a loaf of bread

Sun Aug 20th clear and pleasant

Mon Aug 21st clear and warm. I walked down to the old home this fore noon

Tue Aug 22ond clear and hot. I went over to See brother John who is no better

Wed Aug 23rd clear and hot. I cutt weeds out of corn and potatoes

Thu Aug 24th cloudy and warm. I cut weeds out out of the potatoes. Jane Cragg calld in a fiew minutes this after noon.

Fri Aug 25th clear and pleasant Victoria was here prepairing to go back to Buffalo the boys and gurls came in to night to bid her good by. they changed thear mind concluded to have their photos taken to morrow

Sat Aug 26th clear and pleasant. the photographer came we had our likeness' taken Vic and her children Started for home I went to See brother John he is no better

Sun Aug 27th clear and pleasant. I went with Bilton over to See Brother John who is no better. we went to hear the free Methodist preacher at the old Church

Mon Aug 28th cloudy after noon and warm Bilton was here part of the fore noon

Tue Aug 29th fore part of the day clear and warm a heavey thunder Storm about noon a pour down rain. I was helping Walter put a block under the Sil of my granery after the rain

Wed Aug 30th cloudy and wet fore part of the day latter part windy and hot 88 deg Elva Paul calld to See our Photographs

Thu Aug 31st cloudy and cool. I went over to See Brother John who is no better Walter was thrashing his grain and Storeing it away in my granry. John Smith calld on me this Evening. Some of our folks got their photos this Evening that Dick brought in this after noon
