Mon July 23rd clear and cool after the rain last night the wind changed an it turned cool I pict my berries and Sarah done them up
Tue July 24th clear and hot in the midel of the day. Elva Paul calld She got a letter from Dora She writes they are all well
Wed July 15th clear a fine day for the harvesers no body in to the present to day
Thu July 26th clear and warm. Walter mowd his bit of barley he Sowd in my garden Sarah was here picking berries
Fri July 27th clear part of the day there was two Showers a Smart rain in the morning and a rain and hail in the evening. I have Seen more hail on the ground but not So larg. Sarah was here and Will McIntosh
Sat July 28th clear most of the day and pleasant my hen hatched thirteen chickens from fifteen eggs I moved them out put them in a coop

Tue July 31st clear most of the day and pleasant there was a strange person calld here to day he was Selling Books
Wed Aug 1st clear and warm 84 deg. Bilton was part of the after noon here
Thu Aug 2ond clear and warm. Asa Newcomb was in a while this fore noon. I was watching Henry Johnson reaping Oats
Fri Aug 3rd clear and hot 90 deg at 3 PM Sarah was here part of the day
Sat Aug 4th clear and hot 94 deg at 3 PM Bilton was in a fiew Minutes he brought me Some pils from Dr Galbreth Set Crowell calld for money for the Ministers Salery
Sun Aug 5th clear and hot the Same as yestherday 94 deg
