Mon Aug 20th cloudy and hot 92 deg. Dick calld this morning and took some Money to Thamesville and banked it for me. Mrs Hoover calld in She was on her way home. Millie called in on her way home from takeing her Mother to Thamesville on her way home

Sat Aug 25th cloudy most of the fore noon after noon clear and hot. Sarah was here this Evening the California folks arived Catharine and her oldist and youngest boys came with them

Mon Aug 27th cloudy and little in the fore noon after noon clear and cool. I went to the blackSmith Shop and and over to Henry Johnstons barn where William was thrashing. Sarah was over here She has got back home again

Tue Aug 28th light clouds and cool. Mrs Chaple calld in a fiew minutes. I cut the weeds about the yard

Wed Aug 29th clear and cool. I hoed up a fiew weed in the garden. Sarah was over

Thu Aug 30th clear and cool one of Henry Snary girls came and brought my Methodist Magazine they took out of the Post Office the Young Minister calld and had prayer
