Croton Janury 1907

Thu Jun 10th high wind form South West and cold Sarah wsa in the dirty cloaths

Fri Jan 11th cloudy cool. Sarah was here doing her house work. Walters wife calld this Evening

Sat Jan 12th cloudy and Soft about an inch of Snow on the ground this morning it going away fast. Walter ws in this Evening he was telling me Sarah Ward was dead She was the last of James Yong famley of girles

Sun Jan 13th cloudy and cool East Wind it thretend rain or Snow but none has come

Mon Jan 14th cloudy and Soft. I went to the Post Office in the fore noon after noon went up to Walters to See his Sick Girl She is sick Enough not much hopes of getting well I heard that Mahlon Gibson died last night

Tue Jan 15th cloudy and cool. about an ince of snow fell last night. I had some old friends call to see me Edwin Mills and John Nelson

Wed Jan 16th cloudy and cool. the Sky looks like a storm Sarah was here She Says Irena is dead She died at ten Oclock to day. I feel Sorry for Walter and Ella they were greatly taken up with the Girl

Thu Jan 17th cloudy most of the day. Samuell Peters boy brought my Shot gun home

Fri Jan 18th cloudy foggy Soft day I was at Church at Walters Girls funeral there was a large prossesion for a Small child

Sat Jan 19th cloudy and mild - rain last night Sarah was here this after noon.

Sun Jan 20th high wind and spirts of Snow and cold. I went to Church the first for some time lately.

Mon Jan 21st cloudy and cold 14 deg above Zero this morning I had nobody in to day but Walter he was in for the key

Tue Jan 22ond a Snowey there was about five inches of Snow on the ground this morning and it has been Snowing most of the day William McIntosh was in cloaths to wash
