TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 1870.

The boys were at the manure drawing this forenoon as usual while I worked at sheering sheep. Got them all done to night. My flock only consists of twenty old sheep now besides the lamb so that I can sheer them in a day with out much difficulty. We had some friends here from Simcoe to day Mrs. Murphy & Mr James & L {illegible{. The drouth still continues althoiugh not without indication of rain. The purchase of the Redeemer's blood is still the cause of much gratitude & joy.
