8 I sent letters to Mrs Horner Graham A. Scott Jas. Grier Mrs H.C. Gamsby Ben Kirker Alf Elliot R. J. Mustard Jeff Chapman Wm Bilton E. Edgers Minnie went home to-day Jim came in this eve I gave 10 cts for a shave 10 cts for envelopes 25 cts for stamps Jim & I came out to Mr Willoughby's to make 10 cts for apples Mr Kenny worked half a day was a nice day

9th I loaded Freeman & Hales bottom bases on Jims waggon he left near nine I gave him $5 There was two Lackies ordered a set of posts at $8 & paid for them gave Jack L. $1. his sister was up Mr Kenny did not work was a very warm day.
