17th We went out to Jims in morn Jim & Patience were away had dinner left a three came up to Moultens had tea then home got home about eight drove cart was a cloudy day

18th I got a plug of tobacco for Jack L 10 cts Kenny worked about two hours this forenoon & all the afternoon made a place for the hens went for a drove was a nice day I sold 3 doz of eggs of eggs I paid Mary back $150 cts I wrot a letter for E Gonyou this eve Rogers started painting house

19th Mr Kenny helped me alday I went down ordered about 98 ft of lumbe for varanda $350 got about five or six bu of sand from Willson is not paid Will Denny helped me move side step I gave him 25 cts have left tonight $23.25 was a nice day

20th I fixed some steps this forenoon Mr Kenny helped me in afternoon to finish wall 25 cts for lumber was a nice day

21th I worked in shop in forenoon & fixed varanda in afternoon gave Jack L $100 Minnie gave me 75 cts I got a bottle of castoria 35 cts

22nd I got Marys money order cashed for $1000
