15th We loaded the balance of the two Jobs Jack Jimmy & I all went up Jack cut & Ins on Driscoll Job We got the other two up but not finished got home about eight 50 cts for ferry I took our dinner 15 cts for linseed oil Driscoll lettering comes to $3.50 cts Rockforts Job $12500 got none of it McCarthys $3500 got none on it was a nice day

16th I sent cards to Pat Kennedy Mrs Wm S Martin Mrs DR Latimer to AS McCready Maggie Warren paid $1300 duty on marble gave Mr Kenny $1000 & a man $100 for fixing horses teeth have left to day noon $22.06 cts I went to Howe Island finished up any work all but Rockforts marker & Driscolls footstone Willie Bishop went with me 50 cts for ferrying across we got home after eight got a cheque from Mrs S Perrin for $45 was a nice day

17th Have left this morn $21.66 cts got a cheque from D D Donovan for $15000 pay in full for Murphy Job went down paid $8.26 cts freight $125 for medcine for Mary got Mrs S Perrins cheque chashed $4500 & sent her a letter I hauled up three Jags of marble rained to day
