& set Staffords got no pay on it it is to be $1500 came down to Jims had dinner took his old mare went to Lynhurst erected Singletons he had foundation in & pid me in full $2500 I gave him back $100 ordered a suite of clothes from Geo Charleton $1700 got to Jims before six had supper came to Moultens I paid Annie $250 cts ammount of express I got cashed they gave me some apples berries tomattoes corn got home about ten

15th Annie was in for dinner & Jennie Page 25 cts for meat Geo Gibson & I went to Howe Island in afternoon cemented in Rochforts markers went on to Mrs Tom Prior & back to town got home about eight 50 cts for Ferry A McCalpin paid $2500 on not gave Jack L $1000 was a lovely day 15 cts for muriated acid

16th Went to church in morn gave $200 was a nice day

17th I gave Mr Kenny $1000 left about eight for Ebenezer cemetry worked alday there had dinner & tea at Geo Bryons have left to night $8415 cts I over paid Mr Kenny $600 this morn cloudy by times but no rain

18th I marked Ins on Bracken Job went down to Ebenezer worked untill about three had dinner at Geo Bryons call on Mr Mitchell on my way up at factory left him a design worked awhile in shop this eve 3 cts for peanuts was a nice day

19th Wrote to Manford Bracken & Mary Nibblock gave
