got Howards man to drive J & I out to Olivet church I agreed to give hime $200 I spent 15 cts we got out to Jims ten I telephoned to Joe Chapman to come for horse cost 35 cts got a tire set 40 cts not fixed & left some tools to get sharpened at Mr Johnsons they are there yet sent buggy out by stage cost 60 cts 5 cts for varnish was a nice day

26th We left for town about seven Jim brought us up as far as the Olivet got in home about ten I brought my Mother in Mr E In Bracken had sent me a cheque for $1500 cost 28 cts to get it cashed I left it in the Bank Jack & I left onboxed two Jobs & started the Ins on Dargavel Job & finished McDonald 10 cts for two loaves of bread gave young Latimer 5 cts was a nice day

27th Stayed around home alday was a nice day

28th I went over called on Mr Dan Fairman he said he would not order untill spring called at Wrights store Miss Richardson paid me $100 pay in full for Work done on Herb Mallorys I paid $1096 cts freight on the two Jobs I ordered from RM Gullett sold a $125 Job to Mrs John Bowie of Cornwall have left at noon $16.19 cts gave Jacky Gams 2 cts I marked Ins on Dargavel Job & Jack L started on at $125 cts for a bottle of Liquer for Aunt Ann Jack & I had a settlement to day fund {illegible} him $5000 I gave him $100 when we got settled up
