Thur Mar 17. St Patricks Day. fair and moderately cold.
Fri Mar 18. Fine bright and moderately cold. Aunt Mattie and I at Confirmation. seve. Confirmed. Thornhill boys defeated at Aurora in final Match.
Sat Mar 19. Raining all afternoon with thunder, lighting, and hail stones cleared about six. I went for medicine in morning.
Sun Mar 20. Mild with light showers. then fine and very warm and sultry almost unbearable. Aunt Mattie and I at eve church
Mon Mar 21. Fine and quite a cool wind. we leaned Aunt Nellies and out feather beds but did not wash them. cleaned slats also Tanny Bowes called. We called at Mrs Pearsons in eve.
Tue Mar 22. Fine and mild drying nicely. Willie and Mercie here to tea.
Wed Mar 23. Fine and mild. scraping roads. Willie called. we cleaned spare bed and aired clothes. Aunt Mattie washed for cleaning
Thur Mar 24. Fair at first. then rained heavily in the eve. I went to see Phyllis. who is very sick. roads are much better.
Fri Mar 25. Good Friday. cleared and fine in afternoon. Annie called got our hats in evening. mine. $3.25. for fixing and flowers.
Sat Mar 26. Fine bright and very warm. We cleaned boxes and bed Clothes boxes up back stairs. burnt grass in back garden. I was out in evening. inviting some ladies to tea. very. warm
Sun Mar 27. Fine and warm. showery making it quite muddy. Aunt Mattie and I at evening church. Earter Service Aunt Mattie and I at morning service. Mary Watson here stayed tea. Aunt Mattie and I in eve.
