Fri Dec 23. Fine and moderately cold. Aunt Mattie called at {Kellys?}. Mrs. Nelson Smellie called here. Willie called and brought Chicken Plum Pudding and candies.

Sat Dec 24. Fine and bright and much colder, but fine winter weather. Annie here in the evening.

Sun Dec 25. Christmas Day. Fine bright and cold, about zero, an ideal day. Aunt Mattie and I at morning Church, also Willie and Charlie. Aunt Mattie and I at evening Church. Mrs. Donaldson and {illegible} called in the morning. I was at Mrs. after noon. Carrie called.

Mon Dec 26. Fine bright day. Quite cold, but an ideal day. We all spent the day at Mother’s. Margie{?} only came after noon.

Tue Dec 27. Fine and moderately cold. We got our {illegible} 8 and 9 at 35 cts. worth in all $6.13.

Wed Dec 28. Fine bright day, moderately cold, but mild weather and the roads all frozen. We got a great many candies for Christmas. The Davidson children and [illegible] children and Mrs. Fruehlich with a pound toy and Charlie and Frank two pound toy. Frankie Lee and Margaret Cook each two pound boxes so nine pounds in all. We had Josephine and Donald in the afternoon. Carrie called.
