Sun Oct 1 Fine and very warm and terrible dust. Auntie and I at church no need for Coats. Big trucks putting graved on this road. I went to church alone in the evening.

Mon Oct 2. Fine and quite warm. still gravelling road. Phyllis here for tea. working on Yonge Street frone Thornhill to New. Bronk

Tue Oct 3. Fine very warm. Annie. Lizzie and Phyllis here for tea.

Wed Oct 4. Fine and warm. the Haileybury fire 6ouo homeless. 7 towns gone.

Thur Oct 5. FIne very warm. lives lost in north cemtry about. Auntie and I called at Fanny owes in eve.

Fri Oct 6. Continued very warm. and terrible dust as no rain for over two weeks. basket peaches 45 cents

Sat Oct 7. Rained steadily all afternoon from the N.E. Auntie and I went to John Cooks on the 1.45 car and left on. 8.30.

Sun Oct 8. Dull and quite cold. Auntie and I at morning church. Mrs Davidson in in the afternoon. light our Coal heater the first time we needed fire as the past two weeks very warm. I went alone in eve.

Mon Oct 9. Fine and cool but quite dull followed by showers.

Tue Oct 10. Rained gently most of the day. I went to Toronto to Dentists. North toronto in a terrible mess. Changing cars at stop 21. Putting Cement on Yonge St.
