Fri Oct 20. Fine bright but cold heavy frost. Mrs Gruelich here for tea. very dusty.

Sat Oct 21. Fine bright day. thick ice this morning. We took down Bamboo Curtains. also Mr Davidson put in double window. I sold hens to Mr Bowes for 1 dollar each. very dusty.

Sun oct 22. Fine and warmer. Auntie and I also Willies at morning church. Mr McDonald did not preach eve he is at the mission. Willie and Grant took Annie. Auntie and I for a drive in the afternoon. Mrs Davidson. Auntie and I at evening church. a perfect day for Otober driving.

Mon Oct 23. Rained all morning then cleared and much colder. We washed. Nelson Smellie fixed ditch. Put on second flannetite blanket in our bed.

Tue Oct 24. Fine bright and quite cold. Auntie and I in Toronto.

Wed OCt 25. Fine bright and cold. Lorraine had a birthday party seven little girls. I was in to help Mrs Davidson. Thur Oct 26 Fine bright day. We put in Double Door. quite heavy frosts every night Auntie went to the Doctor.

Sat Oct 28. FIne bright and cold wind. changed to sleep in the East bedroom. Mrs Davidson in. eve are knitting Donalds muffler.
