25 cts cleaned off Topping Ins on to Phillipsville after tea cleaned of Beade Ins. & left footstone up to William Freemans Bill Johnston brought the load out to day I owe Webster $6.00 for it Miss Adda Sly ordered a set of posts from me to go in in spring $800 was a nice day have left to night $209.41

28th I came to Portland went on down to Mrs Yellen and Jas Rope back to Portland had dinner 60 cts got my old overcoat Wm Dowsett paid me in full bal. on headstone 500 came on to Mrs Freeland's then to Newboro back to W.T. Leggett's then to Mrs Jas Stanton she gave me the job of cutting her husbands Ins. on Mon to be done next summer then down to Oliver Rowswell sold him $170 job had tea & stayed alnight was a nice day but quite cold 50 cts for a cap in Portland
