17th I left about ten O'Clock for Union cemetry had dinner at Geo. fed horse at Latimer 25 cts got to Union near three fixed some of Redmonds slabs I brought Humphreys post down Bradley footstones & one for Sliter one for McCrea went in to Geo Truesdall stayed alnight was a cold day 1 cts for post card and sent it D Paterson I gave Mary $200

18th gave youngster 10 cts I went over to Ed Earls got about a quart of cement came out to cemetery finished up Redmonds slabs he owes me $300 for this & he & Mr Joe Bradley owe me $150 for fixing a Copeland Mon I set Humphrey post 1000 Sliters two & a footstone they are all 500 left for home about four had dinner at Rob Leeders
