5th Jack & I Bankered Die off fathers monument to-day I marked on part of Ins. Mr. Walter Anglin paid me the balance on the $300 note $100 15 cts for meat 1 ct for gum

7th I finisheed marking Ins on fathers Mon hitched up went down to Mr W.H. Kenny's got part of a barrel of morter he helped me about 3 hrs at chimney to-day it started to rain about two O'Clock and rained all the after-noon $2.64 cts for groceries got a letter from Mrs Ab. Wright with $500 have left to-night $10.34 cts

8th I got cutter down and put the runabout in its place paid Dave Wilson for the use of his horse that I got about a month ago to go out to St John cemetry $100 and 30 cts for hay that I got this straightens us up again
