Jack L. gave me $1500 that Joseph Sherby brought in from W. Stafford I built a shelter for some rigs this after noon was a cold day.

9th I got a cwt of flower #300 sent McIntosh Granite Co. A P.O. Order for $3.00 cost 3 cts. 1 cts for a stamp I got 20 cts worth of stamps was a cold windy day I wrote letters to 4cts for Post cards 10 cts for Vaseline 75 cts for cuticure salve 10 cts for shave & cards to got ready after tea left about seven for Wm Moulton's 15 cts for meat

10th I took his mare drove down to Frank Hadigan's he agreed to come to see me before dealing back to Mallorytown had dinner at Dan Hollingsworth 50 cts called on Washington Mallory
