24th I wrote to David Patterson a card to Thos. Carty Mr E.T.Mainse was in to-day gave me a cheque for $1000 wrote to A. Lamont & Co sent them a draft for $940 Kept the balance of $60 for my wages I had this put to my credit in Tor. Bank. on this and the other payment of $200 which E.T. sent on the 12th of Aug. the draft cost 50 cts 10 cts for stamps

25th Mother Mary & I went to church in morn I got 35 cts from Mary 40 cts to church Geo. Gibson paid me $1.25 he owed me on moving of building

26th I lent Mildred Moulton $5.00 W.J. Nuttall started in the morning in McBrooms old stand to take stock we had a rain in
