August

9th Thur. Fine. Machine left after dinner. Girls had a ball game in Eve, we all went, the Brown girls came over & went up in the car too.

10th Fri. Terrible hot. Catherine Sills died this A.M. Mabel up to T. Gurrins for tea. Elizabeth in for a swim. I had a nasty headache.

11th Sat. Cooler. T. Gurren came for Mabel in Eve.

12th Sun. Fine. Elizabeth & our folks to church in A.M. In afternoon our folks went to Kate Sills funeral it waws at the church. Betty Todd here in afternoon. Elizabeth down to Morrows for tea she went to Belleville in Eve with them. Aunt Emma & family called here.

13th Mon. Shower in Eve. Washed Elizabeth writing letters.

14th Tue. Fine. We ironed. We all went to Mrs Keyes Inst {too dark to read word}
