September: 1934.
1st Sat. Windy. Aunt {Bird?} & Uncle Morley here for dinner. Fletchers sale was this afternoon. Jean Anderson came in the night with Tom Gurrins.
2nd Sun. Cool, cloudy in A.M. Elizabeth & Jean stuffed peppers for dinner. They all went to church in Eve Elizabeth taught Helens Sunday School class.
3rd Mon. Perfect, warmer. Started to cut corn. Busy. Elizabeth & Jean went to Kingston with Kenneth Morrow to a Show.
4th Tue. Fine. Men here fixing corn binder. Elizabeth & Jean up to Mrs Browns for the day dinner & tea. Father went to town for Ethel as Evelyn started to school. I went up to stay all night as Wilfred is away.
5th Wed. Fine. Elizabeth & Kenneth took Jean home in Eve. I am still at Ackermans.
