14th Sun. Cold. (just a mild Summer's Day) Everyone sleeping and just sitting around on their seats thinking and swapping spirits. In evening Betsy Jane, Maybelline and Hold him (Honey, won't you hold him) went to hear the Stalker man say what he had to say. Best wishes to all and Good night. Here [indeth] the second lesson. Good-night sweet-heart for [Din] on [mie] way.
15th Mon. Fine. Our folks shifted pigs. Elizabeth washed.
16th Tue. Fine. Elizabeth & Mildred for a walk after school. Elizabeth went to town in Eve to Andersons to stay a few days.
