8th. Sat. Very cold, bright. Elizabeth sawung. Still has a cold.

9th. Sun. Cold. Killed pigs. Elizabeth up to Mellows in afternoon. I walked up to Ethels to stay as Wilfred is away.

11th. Tue. Cold. I came down in afternoon. Mabel up to Institute at Mrs. Ian Wykes.

12th. Wed. Cold. Very dark day. out folks to town. Elizabeth & I here. Elizabeth & Mildred up to A.Y.P.O at Mrs Coopers.

13th. Thur. Cold. Light snow. Elizabeth to Kingston with Ethels. gone all day. Rendering out fat. Our folks [just] up furnace pipes. Two boys called when girls had gone to bed.

14th. Fri. Fine. I went to Napanee with Ethels got home at dark. Elizabeth made pyjama bag. Ethel made [].
