I told them I would bring the pies but to heck with bringing the family. The wind which was north east this morning shofted to almost di=ue south and it has been gettingmldewr all day, but has been cloudy. When I sytarted fore town to-night the walking waas good and it was qite bright moon-light but it started to snow soon afterwards and developed into a nasty storm of snow & rain so that the waling was quite bad coming home through the long grass, but it was bright moon light and I had on my rubbers and socks so didn't get very wet.
