28th Geo & Thos. Hill started shop I helped till noon & then got $60.00 out of Bank paid Seale Boys the 50.00 I borrowed drove out to John Hills Geo. agreed to see me before purchasing. I came home after tea was a cold day

29th I helped them on shop this fore-noon we all were to a meeting this after-noon in the Armourey Rob G. was in for dinner I paid Walter Martin $1.00 for a small job they done for me paid Stan Meggs for the six Grindstones I got $4.50 called on Mr Sampson he is to give me a chance to figure on job later.

30th Geo did not work to-day 40 cts for harness repair Geo went home after dinner I drove out to Joshua Abrams after dinner agreed to let him cut my bases if he would do as good a job as two he had there cut Loftis Bryan paid me in full for work done on Cliffe job $14.60 cts I gave Mary $2.00 5 cts for carbolic oil have left to-night $16.95 was a very cold day Mrs Nelson agreed to give me the job of cutting {illegible}ay now on monument when they went it done 25 cts for a collar

31st I went to church in Morn 20 cts gave the Kids 1 cts Minnie went to church this eve It snowed some yesterday & to-night
