Feb 1st It snowed & blowed to-day I finished floor in barn ordered some lumber for floor some pine & some spruce both a $27.00 per 1000 I ordered 3 windows sash & one door got 1 ton of stove coal in to-da 25 cts for horse powders Dr Bells 39 cts for Milch this pays in full to Saturday night have left to-night $15.85 cts was a cold day
2nd It snowed & blowed alday 10 cts for stamps was a cold day
3rd I shoveled snow part of day went for drive I wrote to Wm Fredenburg Wm Bradley H.S.McLeod was a cold
4th I wrote to Barr Sampson Stuart & Johnson sent Alec. Fraser 60 cts for a Des. cost 2 cts for order

10 cts for stamps 25 cts for a writing pad I called on Mrs Jos. White she agreed to see me before purchasing got a list of names from Mr Wm Edwards went for drive to-day have left to-night $14.78
5th I drove out to Sam Cochrane Mrs Cochrane gave me her brothers Ins. to cut on Mon. at 10 cts a letter if Marble & if Granite 15 cts Each & $1.00 for footstone Thos. Hill worked some this fore-noon we both worked this after-noon on shop Adam Seale & wife were up this eve was a nice day
6th Thos. Hill worked 9 hrs to-day Ed Keating 8 hors I paid him 2.00 Geo Thos he went home this eve I gave Del. Smith $1.00 for 1 bag of potatoes & hauling of some lumber was a nice day gave Kids 3 cts have left to-night $11.75 cts afterwards
