down from Kingston this after-noon I got straps of iron drilled 10 cts Rob & Minnie went out this eve Geo went home was a nice day I got a stove & pipe from Sam the {illegible} 3.00 not paid
17th I made two bankers to-day the soldiers came down from Kingston to-day about 1000 I went to church 5 cts 25 cts for meat 5 cts for fixing a tool I gave Annie Moulton $3.00 was a nice day
18th the Soldiers went back to Kingston to-day Renford came up this morn Rob. G brought Minnie in & took Mrs Moulton home was a nice day have left to-night $3.00
19 I went down gave a cheque for 131.45 cts duty on {illegible} Websters team hauled up 5 loads was a lovely day I went to church this eve 5 cts

20th Renford & I set up 8 monuments Mr Kenny helped us with three I gave Thos. Hill a cheque for $35.00 Mrs Kelly a one for 4.00 for boots gave T.I. Ellis 1.40 for 100 Bran cash have left $1.40 15 cts for meat was a lovely day have left to-night $1.40 cts Renford went home to-night
21st I went to church in morn Minnie & I went in eve Renford stayed with the youngsters 25 cts to church
22nd we worked in shop o-day McVeys were up to see Renford I came down to Geo. after tea it rained some I paid for Milch 42 cts
23rd I went up to Mrs Donovans got some Ins. out to Mr McNeils got there Ins. on to Henry Hunts he agreed to take
