27th we got ready this after-noon for Sand Hill I gave Mary 2.00 got a cheque from Mrs Alice Niblock for 7.80 Dep. 7.50 in Bank got 5.10 out of it 10 cts for shave 15 cts for cigars 5 cts for paint-oil {crossed out: got a money order from Ben Kells for 12.40 & got it cashed for it.}

28th finished up Hanly Patterson & Shannon got done about four went to Battersea sold Mr McBratney a 25.00 went in at R. G. Boal had tea they gave me cheque for 12.00 came to H. Sleeth stayed all night rained some this eve was a cloudy day {Shannon Berry job $8.45 Gillespie some letters on Nichols job $1.50 extra charge on Ad. Nichols}
