Thr 28 I was Sawing 1/2 a Day at FW Johnstons a Very Cold and Blustry Day Very Good Sleighing to Day Sum Wood Drew out Lots of Buggies Running
Fri 29 another Nice But Cold Day I was Cutting wood in the yard Mrs Emma J McNeal Came to Hear to Day

Mon 1 The Begins Very Cold with a snow and Wind storm From the the North I was Helping S.E. Johnston Saw 1/2 a Day
Tus 2 I was helping S.E. Johnston 1/2 a Day to Swa we got Dun at Noon C.S. Horton and I Piled up our Wood over there in the afternoon
Wes 3 A Very heavy Snow and Rain storm all Day The Worst Storm of the Season
Thr 4 the Storm Continued till Noon to Day there is 3 inches of Watter and slush on the Road
Fri 5 A little showery again to Day I was Sawing at Wes Johnstons Miss McNeal Went out Mary Came Home From Kingston sick
Sat 6 a Very nice Spring Like Day I Drove to Lansdowne in the {cut off} The Roads are getting Very Bad another Cow in{calved} 6 in Now
Sun 7 Easter Sunday a Very Slopy time it is Nearly {cut off} m Wind North East
