Mr James Cameron Island June 25th

Fishing Set the Line 20 {illegible} on Bill here and Abe and Lukes Boy

26th Cutting Roads in the Bush hoeing the Potatoes in the garden

27th Drew some Drags in the Bush to clean the Road the colts Bad set some Brush heaps a Fire

28th Fishing Blackbirds beginning to Flock Strawberries some Ripe John McElvian & John Dunn here Fishing A Great Many Boats and Rafts a going now Fixing the Waterlog

Sunday 29th Went to see Munnings Storehouse at Christees Seen Davidson Jacop there A Raft of sawlogs going Down got 50 F Rafters or scantling

30th Drew up the scantling Last Day of June

1st of July Drawing some of the cord wood

2nd Christee here Grinding his scythe & axe got the Loan of the crofscut saw

3rd Drawing in the Bush

4th American Independence

5th Our Johns Birth Day Peter Cold Left his ine & Jack here Lent him a Paddle Lavinia sick Drawing wood in the Bush {illegible} Finished very warm

6th Sunday Bill & Elton Cambell & Elizabeth here Liz stopt

7th I went to Nicholsond for the churn Lent George the spoon went to Christees with them about the hay Lashey Tom & Joshua Bordeaux came to Fish we went to Morris's Bill got Married got a new certificate Bought of Buchanan 1 lb Tea 5/- 1 lb candles 1/- Tumbler -/6

Sunday the 13th Lavinia & I to the Berries picked a pail near full Lashey from Lancaster had a hooker

14th Drawing Wood till 12 oclock Went to Williamstown took out the Wood 12 lbs Berries Knife stone got our Knife took Grannys Wood to sell

15th the Red Boy came with me Laura Bob & Tot Mill here at Berries

16th Nicholsons took away there Rum Laura started turned Back

17th I went to Summerstown Allen too took 3 Bushel of Ashes 1/10 1/2 Bought of Mr Watson Levi Moore Smallman had a Lunge Weighing 27 lbs stopt all night

18th Went of Gave me 7 york shillings I went to Salmon River paid the Letter in the P.O. Bought of Congdon 1 lb salts -/6 hoarhound candy -/3 bought of P Buchanan 1 spade -/1 1/2 Quire of Paper -/6 2 lb sugar 1/2 Hat -/3 Bought of D Baker 8 lbs of Swamp Lime -/4 1/2 To Treat of Wind at Normans -/7 1/2 1 1/2 for Gum got 2 irons for sleigh from Mr Morris took a cat old Mr A Cameron here

19th Cleaning the Pigs put them out a Great Many Boats Going the River Bill & Bob here at night Fishing Left their Pine

20th Nicholsons here I & Allen went to Christes with them Allen & I to Charlies got a Large Pike sold it to Sanderson a Boy with 1 arm from a Raft sold my Line & spoon 2/5 Mary Birch Maggie Roy Mis Grant here at Berries Gave Bill and Bob some Poison to Poison Dogs as they said a Great many onthe Berries Rain hard Last night East Wind
