26th Went to Williamstown with Ellen & the 2 Boys gave her a Book the Biographical Scotch of Eminent Scotsmen (Donald McDonald Long) Gave Granny 6/3 The Miller M Donnell Buried in Williamstown this Week 1 Chicken Came

27th came home Jo Snider here

28th Drawing Wood Charlie here took home the scythe Lashey went to Plamadon for his Barrel

30th Mr Watson Dan Cameron & Levi Fishing caught 3 splendid Maskinonge and a good Lot of Walleyed Pike & Pike had a Glorious Glee & the Blackbird most lovely sings with his Mate By his side

Sunday 3rd old man {cut off} Tried the New Potatoes had a swim Found the Butcher {cut off} in the water Lost a year now

7th Mr Morris Bob Bill Morway with the Scow taking away the colts Put i the first Hay Lavinia Raking 3 Loads on the small Rack about 12 coils the Blackbirds at the Pease & Barley Rain to night thunder & Lightning very hard

8th {illegible}ed the Stove Mowing

9th Mowing some

10th George Semo here & Henery children Maggie Lafitte Sandy Pat & Slack the Tailor went to Charlies See the 4 small Pigs on the 10th About a Week old as I would suppose

11th Turning the Hay On the Lower Point went with the Ram To Mr Morris's Rain some in the night

12th Came home Wind High a Grand sail of it home began to Mow in the upper Field

13th Gathering & Raking Hay Lavinia & me 2 Loads in caught the Rams 13 of Them put them in the stable 11 young ones & 2 old Rams 7 young Lambs 19 old sheep Fixing the Rack on cart Greased the Wheels 2 Men & John Nicholson here hunters) the Hen took out 4 chickens put in the Pigs new Corn Lots of Potatoes choke cherries fit to Eat getting along very slow with the Hay all alone at Broke the Rake

14th Put in a Load of Hay Mowing some

15th Mr Morris Haere for the Rams 13 of them took my Lance Left his Mowing some

16th Mowing in the Upper Field Broke the stone

17th Bob & Ann here took home my canoe pease cherries EEl stone sand a Fine Day
