Monday Went to Salmon River Bought of Buchanan 1 box of Caps -/3 1/2 lb and 16 needles -/1/2 Bought of Norman Knitting Needles -/3 1 Tumbler -/3 1/2 Mug -/1 1/2 pe{cut off} -/1/2 caps Loss 1 Quart of Whiskey / 7 1/2 Bottle to be Returned came home Angus came to Mow Got the Book for Dan in the P.O. A Great Many Departed from the American Side

19th Mowing the Upper Field Charlie came to Fix his Wood horse

20th Christee here took home the crofs cut saw gve me -/6 for to get Tobacco Bought of A Summers 1 Gallon of Whiskey 2/4 1/2 Gal Syrup 1/11 1/2 Angus to Williamstown put in say 1 Load of hay Altered the {cut off} yesterday in A Summers New house him Busy Papering the Wall I came Reducing Whiskey

22nd Angus & John Labuff came Mowing Below the Garden & on the Pitt Point Walter Bakers Wife a Son, cut some Marsh hay Jim Niholson & a hunter here

23rd turning & cocking hay Rain commenced Angus & Labuff went off some corn & EEls cherries took home & a Bag Christee here with Long Black Berries

24 Sunday no one here picking nuts & cherries

25the put 4 Loads in shot 3 Ducks Blackbirds Bad cleaned my Guns put in 1 of the Hogs

26th Raining

27th Bob and Old Man came to Mow the R{cut off} Turning & Gathering hay

28th they went home Gave a Bag of Potatoes to Mr Morris some to Bob Heavy heavy rain Thunder & Ligntning

29th Morway & them came to cut the hay Coiling Marsh hay

Finished cutting the Pease & Barley put in the Barley put in 20 coils of Hay put 2 Loads of Marsh hay in the Barn 2 in the stable Quarreling about the Fishing Lashey & the old Man shot a Duck Rafts a going Down the Comes Showing very Dim Light

31 Sunday old man & the Rest went home took my Canoe A Fine Day plums not many Butternuts cucumbers plenty Blackbirds Bad some Ducks Rats commencing to Work cold night Water falling some

1st of September Raining high Wind put out the calves Lashey here Thrashed the Barley 3 Bushels Mowing in the Front Marsh

2nd Mowing some Lashey & Me

3rd Mr Morris Bob & Morway came putting in the Pease Christee here got 2 Bushels

4th Thrashing Putting some in the Oak Field Coiling in the Marsh

5th Putting in the Big Pease 2 Loads of the Rest of the small ones Thrashing

6th Raining Went home East Wind took the Sheep skin

7th Sunday Bill & Wife here gave him a shot Bag of Sandys Lucy over to Tom Scutter to see about her Man Runaway Levi Brudo De Gray

8th Raining heavy high wind Making a Gun

9th Mr Morris came to finish the Thrashing cut the Wheat made a Bargain for the Wheat 2 1/.2 Bushels to Get for his share cutting corn stalks cutting some of the oats upsetting the coils

10th Fanning Pease With Fanning 43 1/2 Pease Kept all the Big Pease Emanuel here putting {rest of line illegible}
